Starbucks is well known for it’s extensive range of delicious iced coffees and frappuccinos. But did you know that there is in fact a Starbucks Secret Menu that you can order from, which extends the standard menu and takes it to a whole new level. Unfortunately, this hidden menu is only applicable to Starbucks stores in the USA. The good news however, is that all of these secret menu items can be recreated (or “hacked”) at any Starbucks store throughout Australia. You just need to know what to ask for.

This article is going to detail the top items from this list and how exactly you should go about ordering them from your Starbucks barista. So here are our Top 5 hidden menu hacks that you can create yourself:

1. Red Velvet Frappuccino

This creation brings together two of our favourite tastes – chocolate and rasberry. It’s quite a simple creation so your barista shouldn’t have any troubles knocking one up for you. Start by asking for a Mocha Frappuccino. On top of this you add Rasberry syrup, and then finish it off with some delicous whipped cream. Add some red sprinkles on top to suit. It’s a delicious and refreshing creation from the Starbucks Hidden Menu that you can recreate yourself right here in Australia.

2. Ferrero Rocher Frappuccino

This one is for the serious chocolate lovers out there. It’s a triple dose of all your favourite chocolate flavours from Starbucks. As one of the most popular items on the Starbucks Hidden Menu, here is how you can hack your very own version. To create this, start by ordering yourself a Chocolate Frappuccino. Drop in some delicious Choc Chips. To that you will then add yourself a generous dose of Mocha Syrup (we like to go for 3 pumps for the Grande size). Now it’s time to go to stage 3 of your chocolate fix by adding a smaller dollop of Hazelnut Syrup (1 – 1.5 pumps for the Grande size). Finish off your creation with a generous top-coating of whipped cream. If you want to go all out for this one, you can also add Nutmeg powder, and/or Mocha drizzle on top.

3. Oreo Frappucino

This one is also sometimes known as the Cookies and Cream Frappuccino by Starbucks fans. To get things started, order yourself a Double Chocolate Chip Frappuccino. Then ask your barista to add in some chocolate cookie chunks, and mix them around so that they are evenly dispersed. Next ingredient to go in is the White Mocha Sauce. Finish it off with some whipped cream (if you really love chocolate, you could even go for the chocolate whipped cream option). The end result from this Secret Menu hack is a delicious chocolate taste thats finished off deliciously with cookie texture blended throughout. I’m in chocolate heaven !

4. Banana Split Frappuccino

This next one steers away from the chocolate flavours, and features more fruit based flavours that are equally delicious and enticing. To get things rolling with this Starbucks Secret Menu creation, start off by ording a Strawberries & Creme Frappuccino as your base. To this, you’ll add a few add-ins which are: vanilla bean powder, choc chips, and a whole banana. Lightly mix them all together. Then on top add generous topping of whipped cream, accompanied by a duo of Mocha and Caramel Syrup drizzled on top. If you like a sweet and refreshing drink lover, then the banana and strawberry taste of this hidden item is going to be perfect for you.

5. Cotton Candy Frappuccino

If you love your drinks pink and frilly, you’re definitely going to love this one. I’d have to say, that while there are some great items on the Starbucks Secret Menu that you can create your own menu hacks for right here in Australia, this one is my personal favourite. It’s sweet and pink, but not so much so that it’s overpowering. To make one for yourself, ask your barista to blend you up a Vanilla Frappuccino to which you add some Rasberry Syrup (we found that 1.5 pumps of Syrup for the Grande size is the perfect amount) and then blend together. The result will be a delicious and light frappuccino that has a lovely pink colour to it. Add yourself some plain whipped cream on top, and blend that in with a drizzle of strawberry cookies on top together with swirls of rasberry syrup. If you’re looking for something light and refreshing, this would definitely be my top recommendation.

Other Hidden Menu Items

These are just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to Starbucks menu hacks. In truth, you’re only limited to your imagination (as well as some restrictions on the availability of flavours and add-ins in your local area.
